The investment opportunity.

Post-Quantum Tek has secured exclusive rights to promising University of Arizona optical switching technology and is seeking the capital to assemble an engineering team, validate the technology, and bring it to market. We are looking for investors and strategic development partners.

Where PQT is today.

PQT is an early-stage commercialization company. It holds an exclusive license to patented technology and the university research behind it. It does not yet have a product, and it is not selling one.

Data centers, metropolitan communications networks, and high-performance computing are the markets the technology is aimed at. Our immediate opportunity is to secure the funding and partnerships needed to advance the licensed technology toward them.

What makes the technology promising.

Exclusive, patented rights

Post-Quantum Tek holds an exclusive license to patented optical switching technology developed through research at the University of Arizona: US 9,453,970 and US 9,726,827. This is not a concept available to anyone.

A research foundation

The approach was built and tested in University of Arizona labs from 2013 to 2017 and published in eight peer-reviewed papers, including work with Microsoft Research and UC Berkeley. That was research, not a test or endorsement of a PQT product.

An architecture that keeps light as light

The switch redirects optical signals without converting the data into electrical form within the switching path. That is the source of its potential energy and heat advantages, and it means the switch does not limit the data rate.

Timing

Advances in optical components, including Texas Instruments' Phase Light Modulator, may help overcome limits of the chips used in the original research. PQT intends to evaluate them in its prototype. Why now

Why the market exists.

AI and data center growth is pushing networks, power, and cooling to their limits, and the industry is already moving toward optical switching.

What investment will fund.

PQT is seeking investment to assemble a specialized engineering team, develop and validate a working prototype, establish strategic development partnerships, and advance its exclusively licensed technology toward commercial production.

  1. The engineering team

Optical, MEMS, and systems engineers to turn university research into product engineering.

  2. A working prototype

Design and build a prototype switch, evaluating component advances such as the Phase Light Modulator.

  3. Validation

Measure the prototype: how fast it reconfigures, how much light it loses, and how much power the switching element and the complete system draw. These are the numbers PQT will publish.

  4. Strategic partnerships

A chip fabrication partner, a systems partner, and a research network or test facility for a first evaluation.

  5. A path to commercial production

From a validated prototype to a product for data centers and high-performance computing networks.

How we state performance.

The networking industry has advanced a great deal, and we do not want to overstate PQT's capabilities or understate competing technologies. Every performance statement we make falls into one of three groups, and we label it.

Shown in research

Results measured on university research switches and published in peer-reviewed papers. They are listed, with sources, in Technical Resources.

Engineering projections

What a future switch is designed to do. These are targets until the prototype measures them.

Financial assumptions

Costs, prices, and customer returns. We will publish these only once they are supported.
